As a Co-Founder and Principal since 2009, Morris is actively involved and invested in the operations of First Western Properties – Management.

“Our approach to investments has always been about balance, performance, and integrity. We create and follow strategies that best deliver for our owners, our investors, and our tenants.”

Morris has been in the commercial real estate business for over 30 years, with an expertise in multifamily investment properties. He started his career in Seattle at Colliers International, a global commercial real estate brokerage firm. There he was promoted to Senior Vice President and was consistently a top broker in the Puget Sound region as well as ranked nationally in the U.S. Top 25.

While at Colliers, Morris served as a broker in many significant apartment building dispositions and acquisitions. In 1996/1997, Morris completed his first investment syndication. He grew his portfolio of apartment properties and left Colliers International to focus on his own real estate investment company in 2005.

Since then, Morris has syndicated over 50 commercial properties and raised over 88 million dollars in equity. He currently owns and operates over 1,600 apartment units as well as several commercial properties in the Seattle area, including the Harvard Market on the corner of Broadway and Pike.

Morris is a proud Husky and a University of Washington, Foster School of Business graduate. He humbly appreciates all the knowledge and experience he has acquired from some of the region’s top real estate minds and likewise enjoys mentoring other brokers and property owners. Morris lives in Bellevue with his wife and has two grown children. He enjoys travelling all over the country and the world, especially to warm sunny destinations with beautiful beaches.
